Tutorial: creare le cannucce di carta - How to make paper tubes

L'arte del riciclo è magica: qualsiasi cosa può trasformarsi in 'altro'... così la carta di giornale può diventare un cuore, un cestino, perfino un mobiletto o un complemento d'arredo!

Ecco l'occorrente:

- quotidiani, giornali vecchi di vario tipo (ma anche volantini dei supermercati)
- ferri da maglia o spiedini di legno sottili
- colla vinilica
- pennellino e pennello medio-piccolo.
Si inizia tagliando i fogli di giornale doppi in singoli e poi, ciascuno di essi, a metà nel senso della larghezza (per le cannucce lunghe) o nuovamente a metà per le cannucce corte. La scelta sta a voi: quelle lunghe sono più rigide, quelle corte più facili e morbide da intrecciare.

Per tagliare si utilizzaun coltello da cucina o un tagliacarte affilato, per ottenere un taglio netto.

Quindi arrotolate ogni foglietto con un ferro da calza piccolo, posto inclinato ad angolo acuto (vedi la terza foto).

Arrotolate la carta ben stretta, cercando di ottenere una cannuccia sottile, più stretta da un lato e leggermente più larga all'altro estremo. Al termine, fissate il triangolino rimasto con un punto di colla vinilica.

Difficile? No, solo questione di ripetizione: provando diventerete sempre più abili e veloci!

You need to cut strips of newspaper: fold the newspaper horizontally in half and then half again and use a sharp knife to cut.
I used a thin knitting needle for rolling the tubes, but you can also use a wood skewer. Place the needle on a corner of the newspaper at an acute angle. This will give you a good tube.

Press under the corner edge and then roll with your fingers. There are various methods of rolling the paper tubes, and after a couple of paper tubes you'll work out which one works best for us. I start off rolling with my fingers and then carefully lift the tube, holding the end of the skewer in one hand and rolling the paper around with other.

At the end, smear on a small amount of glue to quickly fix in place.
You have made the tubes with one end is ever so slightly narrower than the other: it's ok and you'll find out why below.
